The Message Part I

IA. Isa 9:7 - Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

IB. Rev 11:15 - …the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever; Matt 28:18 - And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth [Rom 14:9].

IC. It is also important to note that the reason why the Son of God or Son of the Highest [Luke 1:31-33] is God [Isa 9:6] or the Spirit is based on our understanding of the virgin birth, the resurrection or marriage supper - His spirit is the Holy Spirit.

ID. His name as the everlasting Father [Isa 9:6] is based on the fact that He has children - angels are His children [Luke 20:36]. We already know that He is the eternal Holy Spirit [HW].

IE. His name as The Word or Son of God is also everlasting. We know that the Word or Son of God is quick [Heb 4:12] - this references His Spiritual form. He is alive forevermore [Rev 1:18].

IF. That is, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three identity names of Jesus Christ. This is the interpretation of the words expressed in 1 John 5:7 [...the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one].

IG. This knowledge shared provides the basis for the reason we can swap His names as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit with His name as Jesus Christ. It is evident in these scripture verses:

IH. Matt 28:19 - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; Acts 2:38 - Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins…

II. Addressing a possible doubt: It is easy to discern that Jesus being by the right hand of God means that all power was subjected unto Him if we consider the fact that this emanated through His death and resurrection. Reviewing these verses side-by-side will be helpful:

IJ. 1 Cor 15:43 - …it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power; Matt 28:6-18 - He is not here: for he is risen… all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth; Mark 16:19 - …he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God;

IK. Mark 14:62 - …and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power…; 1 Pet 3:22 - Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

IL. Though His name as the Son is eternal, it is important to note that the Son referenced in scripture verses such as Mark 13:32 [But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father] denotes the earthy.

IM. We understand that the earthy and heavenly started co-existing from the beginning [John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God].

IN. But what is the true meaning of the word, beginning, as referenced in John 1:1? First and foremost, it is important to note that the meaning of a word in one context may be different in another context - illustrated with IL.

IO. We also know that God has no beginning nor end [Heb 7:3] and that the habitation of any being with a natural body is this earth [Gal 4:4 - John 1:14]. That is, the beginning, in this case, depicts the beginning of His existence as a man - the earthy.

IP. His name as the beginning and the ending [Rev 1:8] is based on this knowledge. It means He that came in the beginning as a man is also He that will come in the ending as the LORD from heaven.

IQ. Likewise, His name as the first and the last [Rev 1:11]: He that came at first is also He that will come at last. These names are somewhat expressed through another: The one which is (first), and which was, and which is to come (last) [Rev 1:8].

IR. The fact that scriptural words are personalized to Him is not unfamiliar. It is evident in verses such as 1 Cor 15:45 [...the first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit]. He is the first Adam and the last Adam.

IS. Mat 13:33 - Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in *three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened;

IT. Gen 18:6 - And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.

IU. The relationship between Mat 13:33 and Gen 18:6 may look subtle; however, it is pertinent to our next discussion. The elements associated with these verses will help us understand another last-time prophecy.

IV. According to the narrative in Gen 18, the Lord and two anointed ones visited Abraham. The three measures of meal referenced in Mat 13:33 represent the three of them - the Lord and the two anointed ones.

IW. The whole will be leavened [IS] means that all His children will be resurrected on the last day - He is the bread of life [John 6:35] or the resurrection and the life [John 11:25]. However, attaining the resurrection requires a step.

IX. We’ll be resurrected by or baptized in the Holy Spirit on the last day; however, before that, we have to be taught [Matt 28:19 - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost]. We are taught through our teaching to others.

IY. Based on this, it may be helpful to note that the scripture has different accounts of the two anointed ones and their ministry. Jesus Himself testified of them:

IZ. Rev 11:3-4 - And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth; these are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth;
