The Message Part J

JA. Zech 4:11-14 - Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?... Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth;

JB. Mark 10:35-40 - ...they said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory… But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.

JC. It may be important to note that most of the figures or numbers in the scripture such as the thousand two hundred and threescore days referenced in Rev 11:3 are symbolic.

JD. Based on our discussion so far, we can understand that a prophet is an anointed or chosen one [Ps 105:15, Rev 11:3, Luke 23:35, Matt 12:18], so is Christ in some biblical contexts - Christ comes from a Greek word that means an anointed one.

JE. Based on this knowledge, the people in consideration in scripture verses such as Matt 24:5 [For *many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many] are those that are not anointed or chosen by God but are claiming to be.

JF. It is more evident and easier to discern when we consider subsequent verses in the same chapter:

JG. Matt 24:11 - And *many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many; Matt 24:24 - For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

JH. The people in consideration are antichrists. It is inherent in the derivation of antichrists: anti means substituting one thing for another; therefore, antichrists are those that have substituted themselves in Christ's place:

JI. 2 Thess 2:4 - Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

JJ. The tone of 2 Thess 2:4 should be more familiar if JE [Matt 24:5] is reread - this should be read alongside JF - JG. Furthermore, we know that there is only one Spirit we worship or call God - Jesus the Christ-Messiah.

JK. Any spirit that opposes the Spirit of Christ is the spirit of the antichrist.

JL. In addition to the point in JH, false Christs and false prophets are antichrists because they share the same traits. They were reserved for the last time and are deceivers:

JM. 1 John 2:18 - Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there *many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time;

JN. 2 John 1:7 - For *many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

JO. Through a sermon, an antichrist can insinuate that He has been here in the flesh. However, here lies the interpretation of these verses:

JP. 1 John 2:22 - Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son;

JQ. 1 John 4:3 - And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world;

JR. When an antichrist identifies Him in His first coming, an antichrist will deny that He is the Christ. He or she will be following the workings of the spirit in his or her heart,

JS. This will lead to the fulfillment of His words in Matt 10:33 [But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven]. A somewhat similar expression can be seen in this scripture verse:

JT. Matt 7:15-23 - Beware of false prophets… not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven… *many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name...and then will I profess unto them, I never knew you…

JU. Based on our discussion about the few chosen ones and the many deceivers, we can understand the reason why Matt 22:14 says, “For *many are called, but few are chosen”.

JV. The spirit of the antichrist or the deceiver is the spirit of the devil - an evil or wicked spirit. Based on this, I can share a word of knowledge: It is the natural mindset of the antichrist to test Christ.

JW. Through this mindset, an antichrist has substituted him or herself for God [JH] - God tested Abraham. He or she will indirectly be fulfilling the temptation work of his or her father, the devil [Matt 22:18, Luke 20:23].

JX. It is important to note that the scripture sometimes identifies the spirit itself. It is evident in these cases:

JY. We have antichrist [1 John 2:22] instead of antichrists [1 John 2:18], false prophet [Rev 20:10] instead of false prophets [Matt 24:11], prince of this world [John 12:31] instead of princes of this world [1 Cor 2:8], and the devil [Acts 10:38] instead of devils [Matt 9:34].

JZ. Those with wicked or evil spirits are identified by different names such as vipers or serpents [Matt 23:33, Matt 12:34], Pharisees and Sadducees [Matt 22:15-18, Matt 3:7], hypocrites [Matt 24:51, Matt 23:13, Luke 12:56], and blind guides [Matt 23:23-24, Matt 23:15-16].
