The Message Part G

GA. Rev 19:7 - Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready;

GB. Rev 21:9-10 - ...come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.

GC. It is called a supper because the Holy Spirit or the Spirit of Christ [Rom 8:9] is the bread of life [John 6:48] which also means that He is the resurrection and the life [John 6:51 - John 11:25]. We can solidify this knowledge if we consider another verse:

GD. Luke 11:11-13 - If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone?...how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

GE. Why is Luke 11:11-13 pertinent to our discussion? The scripture reveals that the Holy Spirit was not given at a point in time as referenced in John 7:39 [...for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified].

GF. However, we know that He will be glorified through His resurrection [1 Cor 15:43 - It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power]. That is, the Holy Spirit will be given through His resurrection.

GG. Through Christ's resurrection, our corruptible flesh will be changed to an incorruptible spiritual body [1 Cor 15:44; 1 Cor 15:54 - So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption… death is swallowed up in victory].

GH. We know this because Jesus ascended in spirit [Luke 23:43 - …today shalt thou be with me in paradise] when He died. He then descended anew for the resurrection of all things.

GI. The translation of Enoch reflects this knowledge: Heb 11:5 - By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found… ; Gen 5:24 - And Enoch walked with God: and he was *not; for God took him. Job 10:21 may be helpful.

GJ. We should not let the different word expressions of the invisible God confuse us. He is the Lord, the Spirit of the Lord, God, the Spirit of God, Christ, the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit, and the Holy Spirit.

GK. There is one God, one Spirit, one King, and one Lord [Eph 4:4-6, Zech 14:9]. On the other hand, you have a spirit [Rom 8:16 - The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God].

GL. Your spirit is known as a clean or right spirit [Ps 51:10-11] which differentiates it from a wicked or evil spirit - every man has either a holy or wicked spirit. The former is His - men with this are His children [Rom 8:16]. The latter is from Him.

GM. The manner of spirit will separate the children of the kingdom from the children of the wicked one [Matt 13:38 - ...the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one] or the sheep from the goats [Matt 25:32] on the last day.

GN. The evil spirits discussed in GL should not be misconstrued as those that possess people [Luke 8:2]. An illustration: when a giant dies, his or her spirit leaves the flesh [Eno 16:1]. It is the nature of an evil spirit to seek a living host [Luke 11:24-26].

GO. Giants, serpents, among others, are some of the identity names of people with evil spirits - we will learn more about them later in this message.

GP. Based on our knowledge about who the Holy Spirit is, it is no coincidence that Peter was denoted as the Holy Spirit in Acts 5:3 - Peter is a biblical figure representing Christ [DK - DM]. He attained His name as the Holy Spirit after the day of Pentecost:

GQ. Acts 2:1-2 - And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

GR. Though the narrative about the day of Pentecost may be perceived differently, it is a prophecy about the resurrection of all things through the Spirit that will descend from above.

GS. Before we go into the details, it is important to note that you’ll be quickened to your spirit on the last day [Eph 2:1]. That is, you’ll be a spirit on the last day - angels are spirits [Ps 104:4].

GT. And as a joint-heir, your spirit is joined to His spirit [1 Cor 6:17] - His spirit is the Spirit [GK]. As joint-heirs, we will be glorified together, quickened together, resurrected together, raised from the dead together, or born of the Spirit together on the last day:

GU. Rom 8:17 - And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together; Eph 2:5 - Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;);

GV. Luke 20:36 - Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection; John 6:44 - No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

GW. That is, to be quickened by the Spirit, to be born of the Spirit, and to be baptized with the Spirit mean the same thing - we’ll be spirits or angels after the transformation. In addition to that, we know that angels are the ones in the kingdom of God:

GX. John 3:5 - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God; John 3:6 - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

GY. The interpretation of John 3:5-6 can be understood better after we review 1 Cor 15:49: And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

GZ. That is, we bear His earthy image when we are born of water or the flesh. We’re going to bear His heavenly image when we are born of the Spirit. The transformation will happen through your spirit which is His [GL]:
